Frequently Asked Questions
What equipment is the FL1000V2 designed for?
It’s built for small gearboxes and small hydraulic reservoirs — typically up to about 25 gallons for gear oil service and up to about 100 gallons for hydraulic reservoirs, depending on flow rate and viscosity.
Can the unit stay connected while equipment is running?
Yes — the kidney-loop design draws oil, filters it, and returns it to the same reservoir in a continuous loop, so it can run while the equipment stays in operation.
Is the FL1000V2 portable, or does it need to be permanently installed?
The hand-carry configuration is designed for portability, so it can be moved between machines. A wall/equipment mount bracket is also included if you’d prefer to keep it in a fixed location.
What's included when I buy the FL1000V2 from TCM?
Every unit includes the FL1000V2 filtration unit, hand-carry stand, spin-on filter, threaded filter adapter, wall/equipment mount bracket, hose and fittings start-up kit, and 24V power supply.
Can TCM combine delivery with a condition monitoring visit?
Yes — many customers pair FL1000V2 setup with a vibration analysis or thermal inspection visit so fluid cleanliness and equipment condition are checked together.
